🏉 MORE THAN JUST A GAME – HAPPY VALLEY MASTERS 🖤💛

Masters Football is about so much more than what happens on the field.

Yes, we turn up to play the game we love, compete, have a laugh and enjoy pulling on the Happy Valley jumper. But just as importantly, Masters Football gives us an avenue to support both our mental health and physical health.
It gives us a reason to stay active, a place to belong, and an opportunity to catch up with mates each week. Sometimes simply getting out of the house, having a kick, sharing a laugh or having a conversation with someone can make a bigger difference than we realise.

This year, we introduced a Social Committee to put an even greater focus on the connection and mateship within our group. Through social events, activities and bringing players and families together away from football, it has contributed enormously to our growth as a team.

We’re not just building a football team — we’re building a community where everyone belongs and looks out for one another.

The wins are great, but the friendships, support, fitness, laughs and memories are what Masters Football is really about.

Happy Valley Masters — more than football. Mateship, health and community. 🏉🖤💛

One of our passionate Masters spectator is doing the 56km Challenge to Step Up to Breast Cancer

Right now, 56 people in Australia are diagnosed with breast cancer every day.

This August, she is walking 56km as part of Step Up to Breast Cancer for the mothers, sisters, daughters, friends and loves ones who are impacted by this devastating disease.

She is doing this to raise funds for National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) to support vital breast cancer research to help save lives.

Please make a donation to support her efforts in this challenge and let's Step Up to Breast Cancer together!

Today we celebrate a fantastic milestone as Brett "Gummy" Gum runs out for his 50th game in the black and yellow! 💛🖤

He might be small in stature, but there's nothing small about the impact he has on our club. Blink and you'll miss him flying around the ground... but don't worry, you'll definitely hear him coming!

A passionate club man through and through, Gummy is always giving back, whether it's on game day or dedicating his time to coaching and helping the next generation of footballers. His energy, commitment, and love for the game make him a valued part of the Happy Valley Masters family.
