THE DEMONS SURVIVE AS THE DREAM OF FOUR IN A ROW LIVES ON!
Finals snooker delivered everything on Thursday night — dominant upsets, family bragging rights, heartbreak, and one of the closest major finals matches we've seen all season.
THE CHALKERS GET ROLLED!
After finishing the regular season on top of the ladder, the Smooth Chalkers entered the finals as favourites. What followed was one of the biggest surprises of the season.
Clean Slate produced a stunning 13-2 victory, completely turning the form guide on its head. Peter Weber and Darryl Beaney were outstanding, winning all four singles matches between them and never allowing the Chalkers to settle.
The father-and-son battle provided another talking point, with Dad Peter defeating Adam Weber, proving that on finals night reputation counts for very little especially in the family.
Clean Slate came into the finals under the radar. They leave Week 2 as genuine title contenders.
DEMONS BREAK UNCLE HEARTS
The match everyone wanted to see lived up to expectations.
The long-time rivals from Over the Hill and DMW Demons went toe-to-toe in a classic finals encounter.
Uncle Rick showed why he is one of the competition's premier players, defeating Adam Edwards 3-0 after earlier drawing with Rex Cole. But every time the Uncles looked ready to pull clear, the Demons found an answer.
After finishing locked at 7-7, the match headed to a sudden-death tiebreaker.
One frame.
One chance.
One season hanging in the balance.
Unfortunately for the Uncles, it was Adam Edwards who held his nerve, defeating Uncle Derek in the decider and sending the Demons through.
For Over the Hill it was heartbreak.
For DMW Demons, the dream remains alive.
The hunt for an incredible fourth consecutive Thursday Teams title continues.
PLATE FINALS ALSO DELIVER
The Plate Finals were anything but an afterthought.
Pot Blacks and The Cue Fathers produced a quality contest with plenty of experience on display. Flynn Davison was the standout performer, defeating Allan Murphy 3-0 as Pot Blacks secured an 8-5 victory and booked their place in the Plate Final.
The second Plate Semi saw Double Trouble continue their late-season resurgence, defeating WHAM! 11-4.
Matt Mielke and Vinay Singh were ruthless, winning all four singles matches and leaving WHAM! with too much ground to make up.
FINALS FEVER IS HERE
One week remains.

6-RED 900 SERIES 2 – LAST CHANCE SALOON!
After 12 rounds, two bonus Wild Card Nights were added following earlier cancellations, and now we arrive at the final Wild Card Round.
One night. One last chance. One finals spot that could change everything.
The race for the Top 10 Finals is still alive, with an incredible 15 players mathematically capable of qualifying. Every frame, every point and every finish could determine who survives and who misses out.
Current ladder leader Darren Lennon has been the model of consistency all season, but the chasing pack are closing fast.
Can Kel Riley produce another miracle run and defend the title after becoming the first female champion in Series 1?
Can Shane Murphy go one step further after being one of the highest ranked players throughout both series?
Will one of the established stars such as Raj Chawla, Phil Reilly or Peter Udycz make a late charge?
Or will a new name emerge and write their own chapter in SnookerSA history?
Recent weeks have delivered everything:
A historic tied event with joint winners.
A record-breaking 74 clearance.
New players arriving and winning on debut.
Finals spots changing hands almost every round.
If the last month has taught us anything, it's that anything can happen in 6-Red 900.

FLYNN'S FAIRYTALE CONTINUES
Davison storms into Grand Final showdown with Uncle Rick
Semi Final night delivered everything the Championship Invitational promised – pressure, drama and plenty of quality snooker.
The Major Semi Final saw Danny Allen take on Flynn Davison for the right to challenge ladder leader Uncle Rick in next week's Grand Final.
It was Danny who struck first, producing a classy opening frame highlighted by a superb 32 break to take an early lead. At that point it looked like the experienced campaigner might be on his way to another finals victory.
But Flynn Davison had other ideas.
The season's surprise packet responded brilliantly, settling into the match and reeling off the next four frames in succession to record an impressive 4-1 victory. Flynn has now defeated both players who finished above him on the ladder during the finals series and continues one of the great late-season runs. The challenge now becomes even greater, with a Grand Final date awaiting against Uncle Rick, a player Flynn is yet to conquer.
Can the underdog complete the fairytale, or will Uncle Rick add another title to his collection?
EXPERIENCE COUNTS
The first Plate Semi Final featured Allan Murphy against newcomer Andrew Tieu.
Andrew has enjoyed a strong debut season and has shown plenty of promise throughout the competition, but finals snooker can be a different beast altogether.
Allan's experience proved decisive in the key moments as he controlled the match to secure a 3-1 victory and book his place in the Plate Final. Andrew can hold his head high after an excellent first campaign and will undoubtedly be a player to watch next season.
GEORGE FIGHTS BACK
The second Plate Semi Final saw George Han face Matt Mielke.
Matt started brightly and looked capable of causing an upset, but George showed exactly why many considered him the Plate favourite heading into the finals.
After weathering the early pressure, George found his rhythm and gradually took control of the contest, winning 3-1 and securing his place in the Plate Final against Allan Murphy.
