T2D - Building the Pipeline Pathways Program - Information session Thursday 17 September 2026.

The Umbrella Collective is excited to announce that we will be partnering with the Torrens to Darlington Alliance to deliver a second pre-employment program to the community, this time in partnership with Workforce Australia Local Jobs, TAFE SA, Renewal SA, CITB and Workzone Training. Workforce Australia Local Jobs is funded by the Australian Government Department of Employment and Workplace Relations.

The Building the Pipeline program delivers a targeted, local pre-employment program designed to support people into employment on the River Torrens to Darlington (T2D) Project. The Program is designed to create structured, supported pathways into employment for people who have traditionally experienced barriers to entering the construction industry. This program supports participants to build the skills, confidence and connections needed to step into civil construction and traffic management roles on the T2D Project.

Participants will complete industry recognised training across accredited and non-accredited units including the Civil Construction Skills Set, Traffic Controller (TC1) and Traffic Management Implementer (TMI1) Combined Course, workplace health and safety practices and industry exposure through site visits and guest speakers.

We also understand that it can be challenging to start something new. That’s why the program includes a range of supports, including assistance with transport, your own personal protective equipment (PPE), mentoring and wellbeing support.
