This Monday night, THREE teams will be battling for the gold to wrap up the Winter Season!

Come out to the SA District Netball Association courts to cheer on our amazing B4, C1 & C3 teams!

Congratulations Carmel on playing your 50th club game with Northern Lights NC!

Not only did Carmel hit her first milestone game, she did it whilst playing in an incredible qualifying final! Her team securing their spot in the Grand Final with a convincing 45 - 22 goal win over Tango!

Carmel is a defensive machine, and a shooter’s nightmare! She seemingly comes out of nowhere, flying in to steal the ball! She’s clever & she’s quick!

Always smiling & always backing her team mates, Carmel is a joy to have in our club. She’s fun and supportive & often comes out to support her teamies on the sidelines of their other games - braving the cold whilst she’s at it!

Well done on both your 50th game and your epic win! All the best to you & the team for your Grand Final! ✨

PLAYER MILESTONE | 💜🩵

200 big ones for our fearless leader Krysta! Our incredible club President ticked off her third milestone with NLNC tonight and did it with a convincing 41-23 win!

Krysta is our poster girl for positivity & hype. Always cheering others on and no matter how challenging of a game they are having, Krysta always finds a way to uplift those around her to believe in themselves.

Krysta brings endless netball wisdom to our community, always offering advice and feedback to players, aiding in building their skills & confidence. 🌟

She’s got an impressive shooting range, a very good defensive brain, and a pretty swishy ponytail to be envious of.. 🫢 Krysta is the collector of mystery bruises and the owner of a pretty dodgy ankle, and yet somehow she keeps on keeping on each week going out and smashing it!

.Did you hear she also plays rugby too? Is there anything this girl can’t do? (She would say yes, and that’s play Centre.. but we reckon she could slay that too!)

We call it a comeback, he claims he never left… Lachlan has FINALLY hit 50 club games with NLNC and we are so here for it!

An incredibly valuable member of our club, Lachlan has been with us since the beginning. He’s coached more games than we’ll ever be able to track, he’s assisted with BBQs, carnivals, committee duties, and everything in between and single handedly takes up all the coaches allotted speech time at presentations 🫢 … and we wouldn’t want him any other way!

In addition to all of these things, Lachlan is also a talented player. He’s positive, fun and uplifting on the netball court. His sportsmanship is exceptional & he holds our club values near to his heart.

Our incredible Chyane has ticked off her 50th game at Northern Lights NC! Congratulations!

Chyane has been playing with us at ENA for a number of seasons now, during that time she’s continued to develop and grow, fine tune her skills and become a leader in our club.

Chyane’s determination has seen her become a full time Centre, absolutely dominating the midcourt each week. Chyane is full of fire, positivity and encouragement. She is a cherished member of our club and we are so proud to call her our teammate and friend.

Congratulations to Anna who played her 50th club game at NLNC this week!

Anna is the heart of the engine room. Her natural leadership drives the midcourt & her ability to switch from a feeder to a shooter is exceptional. Anna is an incredibly determined person who sets herself a goal, and locks in on it. She is bright, she is encouraging, and she is such a valuable member of our club.

Congratulations on reaching your first milestone, we are so glad you didn’t hang up the netty shoes for long. We love having you here! ✨

AURORA SPIRIT AWARD | 💜🩵

WINTER NOMINATIONS OPENING SOON…

Soon we will be accepting nominations for our Aurora Spirit Award for Winter 2026. Now is the time to start thinking about who within our club community has demonstrated our club values of Respect, Integrity, Courage and Unity.

Any member of our community can be nominated - players, coaches, umpires, volunteers & committee members are all eligible for the award.

SADNA FIRST NATIONS ROUND | 💜🩵

Tonight our B2, B4 and C3 teams played in the SADNA First Nations Round. Congratulations to B4 & C3 who won their games and were awarded with a special match ball adorned with Aboriginal artwork.

Special mention to our B4 and C1 teams who have finished the season as minor premiers & C3 who finished 3rd and are also headed into finals.

Despite not making finals this season, our B2 girls put up a good fight throughout a challenging season & will now be enjoying a well deserved break ahead of the Summer Season.

PLAYER MILESTONE | 💜🩵

We have waited FOREVER for this one! Work commitments & a broken finger have kept Brodie from ticking off his 50th club game for the longest time but FINALLY he got there - and nabbed another premiership whilst he was at it!

Never before have we seen such an impressive vertical leap on a player before. You could throw a ball at lightning speed 12 feet into the air and Brodie will catch it. No lies. Brodie is an exceptionally talented player who is diverse, fun and brings such great energy with him always.

Brodie has been and continues to be an incredibly valued member of our club community. He volunteers his time coaching, supporting fundraisers, and supports our committee with team selections and any other assistance that is needed. We can not express enough our gratitude for his dedication to Northern Lights Netball Club.

Congratulations on playing your 50th game with us! We hope to see you back on the court soon to start working towards the big 100! ✨
