Really nice day fishing at . A bit chilly but no wind. A couple of nice Australian Salmon caught for dinner.

We were up early today at Sellicks Beach. Lines in the water at 6am but no fish until after 7am. It was a beautiful calm morning, but not many fish around with only a couple of Salmon keepers, and a few Salmon Trout that got thown back.

We fished Waitpinga Beach today and caught 4 Australian Salmon between 6-7am. It was a beautiful still morning and eventually there were lots of other fishers also enjoying the morning....some more than others! On the way home, to help warm us up we stopped at Tommy’s Bus Stop for a nice coffee.

We started fishing Waitpinga around 10:45 am with an epic zero fish.... 'doughnut' (see photo) before lunch, but then after lunch Linda managed to snag a Salmon and a Mullet.

Len caught a Salmon Trout, while Martin ended the day with no fish :(. Does this prove that starting to fish around sunrise can produce a better result?

It was a beautiful afternoon on the beach though. Quite warm and no rain. Great to be out there.
