⚽️ I help female soccer players get stronger, faster & improve foot skills so they can play with confidence & take their game to the next level

I've seen players with incredible dominant feet who were completely predictable — because everyone knew exactly what they were going to do.

And I've seen players who weren't technically brilliant but were completely unpredictable — because they could go either way, any time, with confidence.

Build the weak foot. It changes everything.

Defending isn't just about last-ditch tackles.

The best centre backs win before the moment even arrives — through positioning, communication, reading the game early.

If you play centre back, these are the 6 areas that separate good from elite.

Which one are you working on? 👇

At 16, speed isn't just born — it's built.

Strength gives you something to work with.

Power turns that strength into speed you can actually use.

Learning to apply force gets you off the mark faster.

Learning to absorb force is what lets you cut, stop, and change direction without losing a step — or picking up an injury.

Add real sprint work. Add a coach who knows how to build all of it properly.

The players who get this right at 16 are the ones turning heads at 18 — start building it now.

Every 1v1 move works for the same reason — it shifts the defender's weight before you go the other way.

But the move is only step two.

Step 1: Identify the space. Before you touch the ball, know where you're going. The move means nothing if you don't already know your exit.

Step 2: Execute the move. Shift their weight, generate speed, explode into the space you picked.

Step 3: Weight your touch. This is where most players lose it. Your first touch after the move has to set up your NEXT action — pass, cross, shot, or dribble. Too heavy and you lose the ball. Too soft and you lose the space you just created.

Struggling with close control on the run? That's what the caterpillar dribble drill fixes — it's in the Ball Mastery course inside FFC.

Save this. Pick one move. Drill the full sequence this week — space, speed, move, touch. Not just the trick.

I've never really talked about this in detail before.

18 months of constant back pain. No set timeline. Just showing up every day, doing the boring work, hoping it was adding up.

It was. But the hardest part came after — getting back on the pitch and realising the player I used to be and the player I currently was weren't the same person yet.

Nobody tells you that part takes time too. You don't just recover. You have to rebuild who you are on the ball, all over again.

That's a big part of why the Mindset pillar exists inside FFC — because the mental side of coming back is just as real as the physical.

I still juggle. Not because it directly translates to a game situation — but because the discipline, patience, and resilience it builds does.

The player who gets to 1,000 juggles is the player who shows up for the work nobody sees.

That's the player I want.

Nobody notices the defensive midfielder when she's doing her job well.

That's the point.

Screening. Scanning. Keeping it simple under pressure. It's not glamorous — but it's the position that holds everything together.

She sent me a video mid-session.

Not after. Not the next day. Mid-session — because she wasn't sure if she was doing it right and she wanted to know before she kept going.

I watched it, replied straight away, corrected her form, and she kept training.

That's the difference between a program and a coach.

A program tells you what to do. A coach watches, adjusts, and makes sure you're actually doing it right — so every session counts instead of just getting through it.

Most players are training alone, hoping their form is okay, hoping the program is working, hoping something changes.

It doesn't have to be that way.

Inside FFC and 1:1 coaching with EC Advantage — you're never just handed a plan and left to figure it out. You have someone in your corner, every session, every step.

The smartest players on the pitch aren't always the most technical.

They're the ones who already know what they're going to do before the ball reaches them.

Game IQ is a skill — and like every skill, it's trainable.

Save this and pick one habit to focus on this week.
