I started meditating 6 years ago. Its difficult to describe in words the benefits it gives me daily. It changed my life so much, I resigned from my teaching career, to teach all things YOGA across Newcastle.
I have never looked back and enjoy hearing story after story of how life changing Yoga is for the students, I have the privilege of sharing this ancient science with.

In class, I often refer to YOGA as
'a work in', compared to a 'work out'.
Yoga provides our whole system so many benefits that we can't necessarily see, but geez you can certainly feel them during and after class.
How does yoga benefit the Nervous System?
Postures and pranayama (breathing practices bring the two hemisphere of the brain into balance. They increase the flow of blood and nutrients to the nervous system, facilitating the healthy production of brain chemicals and neurons. And they calm the restlessness of the mind, allowing the nervous system and brain to rest.
