These barriers can be even greater when combined with discrimination based on gender, sexual orientation, religion, age, disability, or social status.

Sport and play in a refugee context have a multitude of benefits, especially for children and youth. All this became visible during our visit to the Sahrawi camps near Tindouf in last week.

Concluding 18 months of partnership with the Sahrawi Ministry of Education and Vocational Training and Uisp Nazionale, we delivered our final project milestone, an inclusive sport event in each camp, facilitated by a wonderful team of teachers that has been working with us for one year to make this possible. A heartful thanks to all involved!
