Parkrun ist für alle - egal wie flott oder gemütlich du die 5km zurücklegst. Nicht das Tempos zählt, sondern der Spaß, die Gemeinschaft und natürlich der Kaffee danach!

Letzte Woche waren wir so oft alle Altersklassen vertreten - im Kinderwagen (ok, das zählt noch nicht 😉) aber Kaia hat die 3 Runden gemeistert - sie nicht mal 10 Jahre alt und Max in der 80-85 Klasse kam auch mit fröhlichem Lachen ins Ziel.

Gehen ist völlig ok - Hauptsache raus in den Park und zusammen aktiv sein.
Oder melde dich doch als Helfer?

🥳Milestone Monday🥳
Welcome on board the parkrun family to two first timers, Andrea celebrated her 50th finish (tailwalking this week) and Gudrun (pirate run director) her 200th volunteering.

Arrr it was “Talk like a pirate” Day and we… had fun. That’s not unusual for parkrun so even if we don’t shiver your timbers every week do move ya lazy bones out of bed and go to parkrun.
You’ll love it!

Event 256 saw 60 participants on a glorious morning. The mountains put on their best display and the coffee afterwards was well earned.

Special thanks to our visiting volunteers Julie and Ian, as well as our local volunteers Nilla, Valerie, Andrea, Barbara and June.

Ok late notice but tomorrow is not only parkrun day but also world “talk-like-a-pirate-day” arrrrr!

So if you feel like dressing up 🏴‍☠️don’t hold back and bring your parrot 🦜 aye.

🌧️ Hellbrunn parkrun #254! 🌧️

Well… it was a little wet yesterday! ☔️ But that didn’t stop our fabulous 59 runners, joggers and walkers from getting out there and enjoying another Hellbrunn parkrun.

As always, we had people joining us from all over the world, 38 first timers to Hellbrunn, including, people, from Australia, the UK and Germany, as well as our wonderful local runners. 🌍❤️

🏃‍♀️ 4 PBs were achieved yesterday — congratulations to everyone who smashed their personal best!

And we had our very own Julie Andrews at Hellbrunn yesterday… not the Julie Andrews, but an English lady with the same name.

A huge congratulations to Barbara on completing her 200th parkrun! 🎉👏 While 200 isn’t an official parkrun milestone, we think that’s definitely worth celebrating!

A massive THANK YOU to our fantastic volunteers who braved the rain and helped make yesterday’s event happen: Beata, Hans, Julia, Martin, Tobias and Barbara. 👏

And a very special thank you to Barbara for taking all the wet high-vis vests and flags home to wash, as well as looking after the defibrillator. You are a star! ⭐️

And, of course, a huge thank you to June, who works behind the scenes every week organising our wonderful volunteer team. We really couldn’t do it without you! ❤️

Whether you ran, jogged, walked, volunteered or simply came along and cheered everyone on (thank you Sienna) — thank you for being part of our Hellbrunn parkrun community.

We’re looking forward to seeing you all again next Saturday! 🌳🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️
