Before the first ski tour of the season, give your skins a quick check-up:

Check the glue
Make sure it still sticks evenly and remove dirt, hair or needles. If the glue is dry or damaged, refresh or replace it.

Clean & protect the plush
Wipe off dirt in the direction of the fibers and most importantly - climbing skin care
to help prevent water absorption and glopping.

Check tip & tail attachments
Make sure hooks, clips and rubber parts are still in good condition and ready for another season.

Producing climbing skins inevitably creates fabric offcuts. Instead of letting them go to waste, we turn them into something new: durable contour belts made from leftover climbing-skin material.

Before summer storage, make sure your skins are properly prepared:

Clean thoroughly
→ contour Cleaning Wipes or hybrid Cleaning Spray for hybrid skins

Protect Hotmelt glue
→ use contour Skin Saver Mesh for dust-free storage
→ refresh with contour Adhesive Glue or Transfer Tape if needed

Protect glide & fibers
→ contour Skin Wax / Impregnation Spray prevents drying & keeps glide smooth

Store properly
→ skins must be 100% dry before storage (including glue)
→ no heat or direct sun, and remove skins from skis for summer storage
