On Saturday 11th July 2026, the 18th Antigua family, to include the Tweenies, Brownies, Guides, and Parents, enjoyed a wonderful adventure at Laviscount Island.
The day was filled with excitement as they explored the island, met the giant tortoises, parrots, lovebirds, and iguanas, and enjoyed a memorable hike around the beautiful surroundings.
This special excursion was the perfect way to conclude a term filled with adventure, friendship, teamwork, leadership, and togetherness.
Most importantly, it celebrated the true spirit and sisterhood of guiding that continues to shine β¨οΈ within the 18th Antigua Unit.π₯°

Today, we celebrate International Being Me Day by acknowledging our Ranger Guides who were awarded their Free Being Me Patch.
This day recognizes the importance of self-confidence, self-worth, and embracing who we truly are.
By successfully completing the Free Being Me, the most powerful lessons are that they are free to be themselves
in a world where peer pressure, unrealistic expectations, and social influences can often make young people question their value.
They discovered that their uniqueness is their strength and learned to appreciate themselves, support one another, and stand confidently in who they are.
May they continue to grow with courage, confidence, and pride, knowing that you are enough exactly as you are.
Happy International Free Being You
Day! πππ

Empowering Our Girls with Life-Saving Skills and Healthy Living Tips! πβοΈβ¨
Over the past three weeks, our Thursday sessions have equipped our girls with valuable, life-saving skills and proper meal planning for school lunches and snacks.
Through engaging first aid sessions led by the dedicated π Emergency Medical Services (EMS) team and π©ββοΈNurse Markiba Drigo, the girls learned how to care for minor cuts, scratches, bruises, and other everyday injuries.
π©ββοΈNurse Melissa Telemaque lectured on healthy eating, the importance of exercising, and our heart.
These hands-on experiences have helped prepare them to confidently assist themselves and others in times of need.
The sessions were truly educational and empowering experiences for all! ππ½
A heartfelt THANK YOU to the EMS team and Nurse Mariba Drigo and Melissa Telemaque for investing in and empowering our future leaders. ππΏππΏππΏ

We were honored to participate in the launch of the CHOGM 2026 bottle cap mural on Saturday, 30 May 2026, at the Antigua Recreation Grounds.
Our members represented our association with pride, passion, and commitment. This is only the beginning of what we have to offer as we continue to serve our community and support national initiatives.
Together with other organizations, we are proud to play our part in making history for our beautiful twin island, Antigua and Barbuda π¦π¬ , as we prepare to host the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting.
