🚨 SQUAD UPDATE: U20 NATIONAL TEAM 🚨

Jaiden Wray ( #17) has been withdrawn from the squad for the 2026 CONCACAF U20 Championship after picking up an ankle injury in the team’s warm-up match in St Lucia. Get well soon, Jaiden! 🙏

Stepping in: 17-year-old Jermarion Edwards, currently with the Steven Gerrard Academy in England. He joins the delegation in Mexico City on 15 July.

The squad wraps up prep in Panama City before heading to Mexico City for altitude acclimatisation ahead of Group B action at Estadio Cuauhtémoc in Puebla:

Our U20 squad went up against Plaza Amador on Sunday— Panama's 3-time reigning champions and the league's most expensively built roster. Final score: 7-0.

With Antigua’s matches set to be played in Puebla, Mexico, at 7,000 feet above sea level, the team will face the added challenge of high-altitude conditions. To help with preparation, the coaching staff selected high-altitude simulation masks — and Fitzroy’s Rewinding was pleased to step in with the contribution.

The Antigua and Barbuda U20 football team commenced their journey to Mexico with a friendly match against a combined St Lucia U17/U20 squad.
Antigua and Barbuda secured a 3-0 victory.
The goals were scored by Lauchland Thomas in the 74th minute and Brandon Satchell in the 85th and 89th minute.

The Antigua and Barbuda U-20 Men’s National Team participated in a workshop on the Understanding of the Modifications to the Laws of the Game as part of their preparations for the Concacaf U-20 Championship.

The session was facilitated by ABFA Referee Technical Instructors and Concacaf Instructors, Ishan Phillip and Darez Dundas. Introductions were conducted by the Head of the Referee Department, Kelesha Antoine, as players received valuable insights into the latest law modifications ahead of the competition.
