VINOD , SUJITH HAND STUNNERS CC THEIR SECOND WIN OF THE TOURNAMENT

Match Summary

Bonding Blasters were condemned to their second defeat of the tournament after a clinical chase completed by Stunners CC .
After been sent to bat first BB's innings went up and down in the space of a couple of overs courtesy of an outstanding bowling display by the comeback offie Sujith Sudhakar . But some gutsy batting by the middle order batters helped BB in putting up a respectable total of 197 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in 20 overs. Sujith bagged 3 wickets in the process.

Chasing down a tricky score, Vinod Kumar 66 runs (35 balls) and Rajesh Yadav 43 runs (28 balls) gave us a steady start which was later carried on by Krishnan 44 runs (30 balls) and Arjun Ramesh 22 runs (12 balls)* helping us breeze past the target with 3 overs to spare.

Vinod was adjudged Man of the Match for his responsible knock with the willow.

RONI GOES BERSERK AS STUNNERS CC GUN DOWN MAJESTIC CC IN A MIGHTY RUN CHASE

Match Summary

What an absolute belter of a match to kick start our new campaign, couldn't have asked for any better !!

After winning the toss, Majestic CC opted to bat first and felt like the decision was spot on after their batters pulled up a huge total of 242 runs for the loss of 4 wickets in 20 overs. Arun Kumar was the pick among our bowlers with 2 wickets.
Despite losing an early wicket in the chase down , Vinod Kumar 52 runs (31 balls) and Roni Thomas 119* runs (51 balls) gave the oppostion bowlers a taste of their own medicine. Jinish Shaji 23* runs (7 balls) did his finisher role to perfection helping us secure the victory with 4 balls to spare.

Roni Thomas was awarded Man of the Match for his brutal hitting which included 9 monstrous sixes and 10 fours.

Match Summary

Was it 3 tournaments ? No I think it was four. It can’t have been five ... can it ? It was definitely six.
So after a barren spell of 6 tournaments Stunners CC have finally broken the final hoodoo winning the Centurion T20 Cricket Tournament by beating Blasters CC

Earlier after winning the toss, Stunners CC opted to field first. Our bowlers backed the captains decision to bowl first and scalped wickets at regular intervals of the match . Nishant Soni was the pick among the bowlers with his 4 wickets . Jinish Shaji and Arjun P played their part by picking 2 wickets each thus bundling the opposition for 129 runs in 19 overs.

130 runs to chase down, Stunners CC had an early scare at the start of the innings but some sensible knocks from Nidheesh Raju 41 runs* (36 balls) , Kishore Mohammed 35 runs (26 balls) and Roni Thomas 21 runs (11 balls) helped us win the match by 5 wickets and 25 balls to spare.

Nishanth Soni was adjudged Man of the Match and The Best Bowler of the tournament for his outstanding outing with the ball throughout the tournament.

Imran’s Double Ton decimates Frontier CC

Match Summary

Words fall short if one tries to describe the inhuman knock Zohra grounds witnessed on Friday from the willow of Imran Ahmad. An unbeaten knock of 261 runs ( 71 balls ) which included 17 fours and 29 sixes ( Yes , you read it right 29 SIXES ! ) was an absolute feast for the eyes. Ajay Ramachandran 98 runs (47 balls) played a breezy innings along with the former and built up a record breaking opening partnership of 327 runs which helped us pile up a grand total of 421 runs for the loss of one wicket in 20 overs.

With a mountain to climb, Frontiers CC started the run chase on a positive manner as both their openers added 100 plus runs in the first powerplay but a good bowling spell by Sujith Sudhakaran and Nishanth Soni helped us bundle the opposition for 189 runs in 20 overs.

The match was won by a huge margin of 227 runs and Imran’s double ton earned him the Man of the Match award.
