We start by shifting our body weight to the reformer leg. The deeper we go, the more activation we create in our muscles, while prioritizing our balance first. Then, without moving the carriage, we add a lateral spine flexion. If the legs are still able to carry the load, we finish with some deep thoracic rotation. I use one blue spring

Assisted horizontal shoulder adduction. The movement is initiated through the arms. When the resistance becomes too great, assistance is provided by abducting the right leg while keeping the left leg straight and grounded. If a large range of motion is available, this movement can also contribute to stretching the inner thighs. I use one red (heavy) spring.
