Most people focus on diet and workouts but forget the most important part tracking progress.
If you’re trying to lose fat, you’re carrying extra weight, and you’ve already started training and eating better, then the real question is: how do you know it’s working?
Without data, you’re just guessing.
Take photos every few weeks, track your body weight 2–3 times a week, and look at the weekly average. It doesn’t have to be perfect or complicated just consistent.
Because in every field, whether it’s business, finance, or fitness, decisions are made based on data. Performance is tracked. Progress is measured.
Your body transformation is no different. If you’re not measuring it, you don’t really know if you’re moving in the right direction.
I found my old hard drive after searching for it for years.
Inside were photos and videos from 2008 onwards.
Every chapter of my life is there:
* Leaving home and moving to the UAE
* Living in shared accommodation
* Long commutes and hard work
* Career growth and job loss
* Good days and bad days
* Being overweight, smoking, drinking
* Falling, failing, and starting again
* My wedding day with my wife
* The people who became part of my journey
I was never a vlogger, but I always had a habit of capturing moments. Many people used to ask me, “Why do you take so many photos? What will you do with them?”
Today, I have the answer.
These photos tell the story of how an ordinary guy changed his life over time.
The mistakes, the struggles, the lessons, and the progress.
Looking through them reminded me that no matter how lost you feel, your story is still being written.
