The Dubai Fitness Championship is a three-day fitness competition taking place in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates with the goal of bringing together individual athletes from around the world to compete in the spirit of fitness. Join us in Dubai from December 2nd through the 4th, 2022.
2020 - Not long after the start of the Covid pandemic we made the decision to postpone our December 2020 event. I
nstead of hosting our usual winter event, we instead hosted two online events, and awarded over $50,000 in cash prizes.
2019 - Following up on the success of the very first CrossFit sanctioned event in the world, 2019 was no different. Canadian Brent Fikowski, and two time podium athlete Sara Sigmundsdottir claimed first place on the individual side. Last, but not least CrossFit four times champion Rich Froning programmed the teams category.
2018 - Dubai CrossFit® Championship successfully host the 1st sanctioned event in the world effectively setting the tone for the season to come. Due to the CrossFit Games® backfilling process the DCC18 invites were passed down to 6th place Bethany Shadburn (USA) and 8th place athlete Connor Duddy (USA)
2016 - 2017 - Expanding on the previous success of the event, the introduction of the online qualifier allowed the Dubai CrossFit® Championship to reach more athletes than ever before. In 2017 we welcomed a total of 72 athletes from 19 different countries representing four continents, including 32 CrossFit Games® athletes.
2012 - 2015 - Prior to the online qualifier athletes were required to travel to Dubai and compete across multiple gyms and venues to earn a spot to the finals a week later which provided a great platform for the local fitness community to thrive and compete amongst themselves and set the stage for the years to come.
