من السماء إلى أعماق البحر… ✈️🌊
خلال إحدى غوصاتي في جزر الديمانيات – سلطنة عمان 🇴🇲، التقطت هذه الصور لطائرة تستقر اليوم في قاع البحر، وقد بدأت أسراب الأسماك تتخذ منها مأوى وموطناً جديداً.

قصة هذه الطائرة مختلفة عن حطام الطائرات المعتاد؛ فهي لم تسقط نتيجة حادث، بل تم إنزالها إلى قاع البحر بشكل متعمد ضمن مشروع لإنشاء متحف عسكري تحت الماء، يضم عدداً من المعدات والمركبات العسكرية التي خرجت من الخدمة.

يهدف المشروع إلى تقديم تجربة فريدة للغواصين، وفي الوقت نفسه إنشاء موطن بحري اصطناعي يساعد على استقطاب الأسماك والكائنات البحرية ونمو الشعاب المرجانية مع مرور الوقت.

أجمل ما شاهدته أثناء الغوص هو كيف بدأت الطبيعة تكتب فصلاً جديداً في قصة هذه الطائرة… أسراب الأسماك تسبح حولها وداخلها، والبحر يستعيدها تدريجياً ويحوّل هيكلها القديم إلى موطن ينبض بالحياة.

كانت يوماً تحلّق في السماء… واليوم تحتضنها أعماق البحر. ✈️💙

From the sky to the depths of the sea… ✈️🌊

During one of my dives at Daymaniyat Islands, Oman 🇴🇲, I captured these photographs of an aircraft now resting on the seabed, surrounded by schools of fish that are already making it their new home.

The story behind this wreck is different from most aircraft wrecks. It did not crash here. The decommissioned aircraft was deliberately submerged as part of an underwater military museum project, together with other retired military equipment and vehicles.

The project offers divers a unique underwater experience while also creating an artificial marine habitat where fish, corals, and other marine life can gradually establish themselves.

What fascinated me most during the dive was seeing nature already beginning to write the aircraft’s next chapter. Fish move around and through the wreck, while the ocean slowly transforms an old piece of machinery into a living underwater habitat.

Once it flew through the sky… today, it belongs to the sea. ✈️💙

Sheltered among the anemone’s tentacles, the clownfish finds its safe haven—a small scene capturing the beauty of life beneath the surface.

بين الشعاب المرجانية، يطل ثعبان البحر الموراي من مخبئه، كاشفا عن فمه بلونه الأصفر اللافت. مشهد قد يبدو مخيفاً، لكنه في الحقيقة جزء من سلوكه الطبيعي، إذ يفتح فمه باستمرار لتمرير الماء عبر خياشيمه والتنفس. 🌊🐍

A moray eel emerging from its reef hideout, revealing that striking yellow mouth. It may look intimidating, but this open-mouth posture is actually part of its normal breathing behavior as it pumps water across its gills.

مب كل لقاء تحت الماء يحتاج إلى ألوان صارخة أو مشهد ضخم… أحيانا تكفي نظرة واحدة. 😄🐡

هذه السمكة الصغيرة توقفت أمام عدستي وكأنها تنظر إلي بنفس الفضول الذي كنت أنظر به إليها. عيون كبيرة، أشواك صغيرة، وتعبير لا يمكن تجاهله.

Not every underwater encounter needs dramatic colors or a spectacular scene. Sometimes, one look is enough. 😄🐡

This little pufferfish stopped right in front of my camera, seemingly as curious about me as I was about it. Those eyes and that expression made the moment impossible to pass by.
