Jan Ostrowski arrives with a wealth of experience gained across European football, having developed within two of Germany’s most respected football environments with Eintracht Frankfurt Official and 1. FSV Mainz 05 of the Bundesliga

A technically gifted player with international experience, a strong football education, and a proven understanding of the demands of the professional game, Jan brings quality, character and ambition to our 1st Team squad.

His experience at the highest level of German football, combined with his Fédération Luxembourgeoise de Football international pedigree, will be a valuable addition as Dubai Irish FC continues to raise standards and compete at the highest level in the UAE.

Jack Byrne’s loan spell with us came to an end in December 2025, and it’s hard to put into words just how grateful we are for the opportunity to have him at the club 🙌⚽️ From day one, raised standards, in training, on matchdays and in the dressing room. His quality on the ball was there for all to see, but it was his professionalism, humility and leadership that truly set him apart 👏

We were incredibly lucky to be trusted with a player of Jack’s calibre. He gave everything in our colours and left a lasting impact on teammates, staff and supporters alike. A genuine pleasure to work with and a credit to himself and his club 💫

We’re proud to announce Stephen Ward as our new Head of Football Development 🙌

With over 500 senior appearances, 171 in the and 50 caps for the Republic of Ireland, including Euro 2012 & Euro 2016, Stephen brings a wealth of experience from a 19-year professional career at the top level.

He’s also a UEFA A Licence coach and most recently Sporting Director with a proven track record in player development, high-performance environments, and building winning cultures.

Stephen will be involved in developing our football operations from academy to senior level and work closely with Sean O’Shea to drive the success of our Pro Team 💪
