U’s GX passion

I’ve been trying for a few days to find the right words to share this… maybe because this recognition came at a time when I’ve been quietly processing a lot.
Sometimes the journey doesn’t unfold the way you imagined. Some doors open, some don’t. Some moments make you question yourself, and others arrive almost unexpectedly to remind you of how far you’ve actually come.
This was one of those moments.
More than a decade of showing up, building, teaching, leading, fighting for what I believe in, developing people, making mistakes, learning, falling in love with what I do all over again and still wanting more.

So today, more than anything, I feel grateful.
Grateful for every manager who believed in me, every mentor who challenged me, every colleague who stood beside me, every instructor and trainer who trusted me, every member who gave meaning to what we do, and every person who has been part of my story.
Even grateful for the disappointments. They hurt but they also have a funny way of showing you just how badly you still want to grow.

Thank you The Professionals Network for seeing my journey and choosing to recognize it.
I may not be exactly where I thought I would be by now…
but I’m starting to understand that maybe I’m exactly where I need to be for what comes next.
Still hungry. Still growing. Still me.
And definitely not done yet.

I know something you don’t.
And I’m perfectly fine keeping it that way.

Some things I worked for didn’t become mine… but somehow, I’m starting to see that not getting everything I wanted doesn’t mean I didn’t win.
Sometimes the win is being seen, being remembered, and knowing your value even when the title didn’t come with it.
I didn’t get the position. I kept the power.

I used to think my purpose was to stand on the stage.
Now I know it’s to build people strong enough that one day, they won’t need me on it.
That’s the kind of legacy I’m chasing. 🤍
