I used to interpret tiredness as evidence that I wasn’t managing myself well enough.
I needed to be more organised. More disciplined. More consistent. Better at keeping up.
Discovering I was a Projector changed the question.
Instead of constantly asking how I could make myself operate like everyone else, I started noticing what happened when I stopped overriding my own energy.
That didn’t mean doing nothing. It meant becoming much more discerning about what deserved my energy in the first place.
I don’t want to use Human Design to create another ideal version of myself to live up to. I want to use it to recognise myself more clearly.
What have you stopped forcing?

Have you ever looked at somebody else and wondered how they manage to do so much without seeming exhausted?
Or questioned why a routine that works brilliantly for somebody else leaves you depleted after a week?
One of the things I wish more people understood about Human Design is that we aren't all working with the same kind of energy.
Generators and Manifesting Generators have access to consistent Sacral energy, but that energy still has somewhere it wants to go. Projectors aren't designed to sustain the same kind of consistent output. Manifestors can experience energy in bursts, while Reflectors are particularly sensitive to the energy of their environment and the people around them.
None of this means one Type is more energetic, productive or capable than another.
It means your relationship with energy is different.
And when you stop measuring your capacity against somebody whose energy works completely differently from yours, you can start asking a much more useful question:
What actually works for me?
That’s where experimenting with your Energy Type can become incredibly practical.
If you don’t know your Energy Type yet — or you know the name but have no idea what it actually means for your everyday life — comment CHART and I’ll send you my free Energy Guide 🤍

September’s Human Design transits seem to carry us through a process of energy, understanding, connection and discernment.
We begin in Gate 40, looking at work, rest and the agreements beneath what we give. Gates 64 and 47 then bring attention to the mind: first the pressure of confusion, followed by the possibility of realisation. Gate 6 moves the focus into emotional boundaries and the timing of connection, while Gate 46 invites us back into the body and the present moment. The month closes in Gate 18, where we may become more aware of what could be corrected or improved.
What I find interesting is the movement from trying to work everything out towards becoming more present with what is actually here.
Confusion can make us search urgently for certainty. Friction can make us push for resolution. The desire to improve can quickly become criticism.
But none of these transits asks us to force an outcome.
They offer themes to observe.
A transit does not replace your personal chart, and it should never override your Strategy and Authority. You may strongly recognise one of these Gates and barely notice another. Both experiences are valid.
There is nothing to perform perfectly.
For me, the question I’m carrying into September is:
**Can I let clarity arrive without pressuring myself to find it immediately?**
Which of September’s six Gate themes are you noticing most?

Human Design is most useful as permission to experiment, not another standard to perform perfectly.
Human Design is useful here because it brings us back to observation. Instead of judging yourself for what you cannot sustain, you can become curious about the pattern underneath it.
Which part of Human Design could you hold more lightly?
Save this as your permission slip to experiment.

Ever said yes and immediately thought...
**Why did I just agree to that? 😅**
Human Design has made me realise that sometimes our struggle with boundaries isn't really about not knowing how to say no.
We KNOW we want to say no.
But then the conditioning kicks in.
An undefined Ego can have you thinking, *"I'll show them I can handle it."*
An undefined Solar Plexus can make someone else's disappointment feel so uncomfortable that saying yes seems easier.
And with an undefined Sacral, it can be incredibly easy to get swept up in other people's energy and keep going way beyond your own capacity.
Suddenly that automatic yes makes a lot more sense.
This is one of the things I love most about Human Design.
It gives us somewhere to get curious.
Not *"Why am I so bad at boundaries?"*
But...
**"What's actually driving this yes?"**
Is it your Strategy and Authority?
Or is it pressure, proving, guilt, fear of disappointing someone... or simply conditioning you've been carrying for years?
You don't need to analyse every decision you make.
Just start noticing.
Because sometimes that little pause between being asked and answering tells you A LOT. 👀
✨ Do any of these Centres explain your relationship with boundaries?
And if you're currently thinking *"I have absolutely no idea which Centres I have defined"* 😂 comment **CHART** and I'll send you the link to find out.

A small weekend check-in: rest is part of a sustainable life, not a reward for reaching the end of the list.
Where did you honour your energy this week? Where did you override it? Hold both answers with curiosity.
Share this with someone who needs permission to pause.

One of the things Human Design has made me much more aware of is the difference between 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗴𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗿𝗼𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗴𝘆
As a Projector, I have an undefined Sacral Centre. Put me around people with lots of Sacral energy, and I can feel incredibly energised. The temptation is to keep going, keep working and assume that because I *can* do more in that moment, I should.
Then comes the part I'm still learning: recognising when enough is enough.
This is one of the reasons I don't think conversations about rest should simply be about "doing less".
Human Design gives us a much more interesting question:
𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗴𝘆 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸?
Generators and Manifesting Generators have consistent access to Sacral energy, but even that energy isn't there for everything. Response matters.
Projectors, Manifestors and Reflectors don't have a defined Sacral, so their relationship with sustained energy is different again.
None of this means one Type is energetic and another isn't.
It's about becoming more aware of*where your energy comes from, what you're giving it to and what happens when you override what your body is telling you.
So here's a little Human Design experiment for this week:
Notice the moments when energy feels naturally available.
Then notice the moments when you're pushing yourself to continue because you think you should
Can you feel the difference?
