Ages 4 to 7: 25 metres
Ages 8 to 11: 50 metres

Before your child runs into the sea, take 60 seconds.
Find the lifeguard. Check the beach instructions. Stay close enough to act. Match the swim to your child’s ability. After sunset, swim only in a designated night-swimming area.
Dubai’s beaches are part of family life, but familiar does not mean risk-free. A simple check before entering the water can prevent a fun beach day from becoming an emergency.

A Saturday morning on the beach can become much more than another activity in the diary.
At Ocean Warriors, young people begin by learning how to understand the water, recognise risk and make safer decisions for themselves.
As they progress, the training becomes more advanced. Rescue methods. Lifesaving equipment. First aid. Resuscitation. Communication under pressure. Leadership.
From age 12, members can begin preparing for awards such as the Junior Lifeguard Certificate. From age 16, eligible members can progress towards the Beach Lifeguard Award through structured training and assessment.
The result is not simply more confidence in the ocean. It is practical capability with somewhere to go, from volunteering and lifeguard employment pathways to UK club progression and meaningful evidence for CVs and university applications.
It starts on the sand.
