I will neverrr tell you to spend $$$ on unnecessary supplements - but I genuinely think this is a great, inexpensive health investment if you sit a lot! 💛

I got the 75cm Proiron one from Amazon! And yes, I did pick it for the colour 🤭

Happy to send you a link if you need it! x

sometimes I say the gym saved my life

I honestly don’t know where I’d be if I hadn’t started at 16

I was so shy then, so anxious & insecure

And it was my place to get anger out

There were things in my life I couldn’t control - but I could control food & exercise

So that’s what I did

And for years & years, I struggled

On the worst days, I’d drive to the gym, sit there & then turn my car back around thinking ‘I can’t do this today’

I tried all the workout plans I found on the internet - Instagram was barely a thing then!

I tried hard to make sense of the sea of information about gym & food

Slowly, very slowly - I got better

The gym got easier

I stopped hiding in the corner & starting picking up the weights

I devised challenges to myself, like learn a new machine every week

I got stronger

My body changed

But it also transformed my mind

The gym taught me grit - to show up when it feels like it’s not working

It taught me hard work - to put the reps in, time & time again, even when you can’t see immediate results

It taught me to control my mind - to focus on the sets in front of me, not my problems

It gave me somewhere to get my emotions out, instead of letting them consume me

It gave me the confidence to know I can do hard things & constantly get better

It’s been a crazy, crazy journey!

But 20 years later, I can wholeheartedly say the gym totally transformed my life

And I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life showing other women what it can do for them too. 🫶🏼

So girls, what’s your score? 😋

And if you feel called out, don’t worry - I used to do all 15!

🤍

I used to have no idea how to eat, train or be confident. Now I’ve taught hundreds of women to do it all.

I get women strong, fit & confident - fast. DM RESULTS to find out more x

Don’t make my mistakes… 🫶🏼

The biggest one was not hiring someone ahead of me to teach me

As soon as I did that, my results 10x’d! 🚀

I then hired 5 x more coaches, took my PT qualifications, studied like crazy

And years later, I’ve now trained hundreds of incredible women - and I don’t want even one more woman to go through the long, hellish journey I did with my body & fitness!

Gym changed my life. And it will yours too. 🤍

Those days I used to sit in my car all anxious outside the gym, then turn right around & go home… Anyone else done that - or just me? 😋😂

A day of my meals [rest day edition] ☺️

Anddd why you shouldn’t copy them exactly…

This was what I ate one day last week

[it was a rest day - but that doesn’t mean zero movement for me]

I still hit 12-15k steps - moving my body daily is a non-negotiable for me, I just feel SO much better for it! 🤍

But I didn’t train in the gym (on training days, I increase my carbs & kcals slightly)

This day was a slight caloric deficit for me (as I’m in a fat loss phase)

But copying my exact meals & portions could lead to YOU being in a caloric surplus (and potentially fat gain)

Let me explain… 😁

Your daily calorie expenditure will be different to mine, or any other person

My calorie requirements are higher than average because:

✨ Metabolism - I have built quite a bit of muscle, which means my Basal Metabolic Rate is higher than an average woman (BMR = the calories you’d burn without doing any movement each day, and more muscle = higher BMR!)

✨ Movement - I move a lot, I make it an absolute priority in my life. I weight train 4-5 x per week, cardio 2-3 x per week, 12-5k steps a day [ofc sometimes I fall down & do less, such is life! 😋]

Anyway - my maintenance calories (my BMR + my movement) might be much higher than yours!

That’s why it’s important to know your own totals

And understand your OWN body’s needs 😊

So absolutely dooo use this post for inspo & ideas - but make sure you know YOUR body’s requirements in relation to your goals, whether that’s fat loss or muscle gain…

Let me make this easy for you 🩷 DM me CALCULATE & I’ll send you instructions to calculate your own calorie requirements! L x

‘What do you do?’ - I can’t say it in a few words, so I’m explaining it in 20 slides 😂

In summary: I elevate women, in whatever way I can 🤍
