A Clarification Regarding the 2026 JJIF World Championship

First and foremost, we would like to express our sincere appreciation to the Local Organising Committee in Italy and to everyone who worked in advance to prepare for the originally planned 2026 World Championship in Ostia.

We are grateful for the time, effort and commitment invested in the preparation of the event.

JJIF previously communicated and explained the circumstances surrounding the change of host country before the World Championship took place in the UAE. We understand, however, that not everyone may have seen or received that information, and we continue to receive questions and comments regarding the decision.

For this reason, we are sharing the explanation once again, so that the JJIF community can have clear and accurate information about what happened and why the decision was taken.

Our intention is not to create controversy or to place responsibility on any party, but simply to provide transparency and proper context.

We thank the Italian team for their work during the initial preparation and the UAE team for stepping forward and successfully hosting the 2026 JJIF World Championship.
