STATEMENT FROM OUR DIRECTOR:

"As a proud Zimbabwean based in the diaspora, I firmly believe that true national development starts with empowering our own youth. That belief is why I founded Mapogo International Football Club in Sakubva, Mutare, to rescue young talent from drugs and crime, giving them a real pitch to build a future.

It was a distinct honor and privilege to meet with Her Excellency, the Ambassador of Zimbabwe to Namibia, during the Zimbabwe Independence Day Celebrations in Windhoek. I had the opportunity to brief H.E. on our dual vision of technical development and anti-drug advocacy. Our conversation covered our ongoing efforts to develop world-class Zimbabwean talent right from Sakubva, and our current dialogue to establish an international academy pathway.

We are building this bridge, brick by brick. Mapogo is committed to standing with the government of Zimbabwe in leaving no one and no place behind." 🇿🇼⚽
