Jujaldo Football Club travelled to Geo Pomona knowing they were in for another tough Communications League battle but the Beverage Boys showed from the opening whistle that they had come with intent. The visitors played with energy and purpose, looking to take control of the game and put the home side under pressure. Their persistence eventually paid off in the 22nd minute when Wayne “Beckham” Ndongwe stepped up to give Jujaldo the lead.

🎯 𝟐𝟐' - 𝐁𝐞𝐜𝐤𝐡𝐚𝐦 𝐛𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐤𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐝𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐥𝐨𝐜𝐤!

The breakthrough arrived in the 22nd minute with Wayne “Beckham” Ndongwe finding the back of the net to put Jujaldo in front. It was the perfect reward for a positive opening spell from the visitors who now had something valuable to protect.

🛡️ 𝐉𝐮𝐣𝐚𝐥𝐝𝐨 𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐝 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐦

With the advantage secured, Jujaldo continued to battle for every ball and worked hard to keep Geo Pomona away from dangerous areas. The defensive unit remained committed while the midfield worked tirelessly to disrupt the home side's rhythm and launch attacks whenever opportunities presented themselves. Ngonidzashe Josh Madidi was booked in the 60th minute for stopping a promising attack highlighting the intensity of the contest as both teams fought for control.

💔 𝟕𝟎' - 𝐆𝐞𝐨 𝐏𝐨𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐚 𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐞𝐫

After almost an hour of protecting their lead, Jujaldo's resistance was finally broken in the 70th minute. Ishmael Tavengwa found the equaliser for Geo Pomona bringing the home side level and setting up a tense final 20 minutes. The momentum shifted and both sides pushed for the winning goal.

⚔️ 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐩𝐮𝐬𝐡

The closing stages were a battle of determination. Jujaldo continued searching for another breakthrough while Geo Pomona sensed an opportunity to complete the comeback on home soil. Neither side, however, could find the decisive second goal. When the final whistle arrived, the points were shared.

⚡ 𝐌𝐚𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐜𝐡

Raymond “Ray” Magayo was recognised as Jujaldo's Man of the Match after another energetic and dangerous attacking display. The speedy attacker once again showed why opposition defenders cannot afford to give him space, constantly looking to stretch the Geo Pomona defence and create opportunities for the Beverage Boys. His pace, movement and attacking intent remained a constant threat throughout the contest.

🧡 𝐀 𝐩𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐭 𝐛𝐮𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐮𝐞𝐬

It may not have been the three points Jujaldo wanted but this was another valuable test for the team. We scored first, we battled, we were pegged back but we kept fighting. Now the focus turns to the next challenge. The season continues and so does the journey.

The penalty that resulted in Tendo’s third goal completely broke our hearts. 💔 Just when we were hoping to fight our way back into the match, that moment delivered the final blow. It was a painful moment but football is full of difficult moments. We accept it, we learn from it and we will come back stronger. 🧡⚽

Football can be brutally unforgiving. After the excitement, preparation and anticipation leading into yesterday's encounter, Jujaldo FC walked onto the Pahuku pitch determined to give the supporters something to celebrate. Unfortunately, the afternoon belonged to Tendo FC, who produced a clinical performance to walk away with a 3 - 0 victory. For us, it was one of those afternoons where the result simply refused to go our way but even in defeat, there were moments of character, commitment and individual brilliance that deserve recognition.

⚡ 𝟏𝟔' - 𝐓𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐨 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭

Our afternoon took an early blow in the 16th minute when Elvis Meleka found the breakthrough for Tendo. The visitors had their noses in front, forcing us to chase the game much earlier than they would have wanted. The goal changed the complexion of the contest but we refused to completely lose our shape.

💔 𝟒𝟎' - 𝐀𝐧𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐛𝐥𝐨𝐰 𝐛𝐞𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐛𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐤

Just when we needed to reach halftime with the deficit at one, Tendo struck again. Albert Nyamutsaka doubled the visitors' advantage in the 40th minute, leaving us with a difficult mountain to climb heading into the interval. Two moments had separated the teams and the home side now had to find something special in the second half.

🧡 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐝 𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐟 - 𝐰𝐞 𝐟𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐨𝐧

Despite the two goal deficit, the boys did not simply surrender. They continued battling, competing for possession, trying to create openings and searching for the goal that could potentially bring them back into the contest. Our supporters continued to believe but Tendo defended their advantage intelligently and made sure we struggled to find the breakthrough we desperately needed.

💥 𝟖𝟎' - 𝐓𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐨 𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐥 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐥𝐭

With ten minutes remaining, Tendo delivered the final blow. Allan Nyachuru found the net in the 80th minute, making it 3 - 0 and effectively putting the result beyond doubt. The final whistle eventually confirmed a frustrating afternoon for the home side.

🧤 𝐁𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐨𝐧 𝐓𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐚 - 𝐚 𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭

Despite the difficult result, Brighton Tevera produced a committed performance and was deservedly named our Man of the Match. In a game where very little went according to plan, Brighton continued to give everything for the badge and stood out as one of the team's strongest performers. That fighting spirit matters.

💔 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐜𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐡𝐮𝐫𝐭𝐬 𝐛𝐮𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐣𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐲 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐮𝐞𝐬

There is no hiding from the result. It hurts, it is disappointing and for players who gave their all in preparation for this match, it will be difficult to swallow but football gives you another opportunity. The important thing now is not to dwell on the pain but to learn from it, regroup and come back stronger. To the players: hold your heads high. To the supporters who came to Pahuku: thank you for standing with the team. To the entire Jujaldo family: this is one difficult chapter not the end of the story.

As we prepare for the next battle, all eyes will be on one of the team's most exciting attacking weapons - Raymond 'Ray' Magayo. ⚡🔥 Blessed with raw pace, attacking intelligence and the confidence to take on defenders, Ray has quickly become a player capable of changing the complexion of a match in a matter of seconds. Give him space and he will exploit it; give him an opportunity to run at a defender and he will attack it without hesitation.

Ray's greatest weapon is his speed but there is much more to his game than simply being quick. His movement off the ball creates problems, his ability to stretch defensive lines opens spaces for teammates and his willingness to drive forward keeps opposition defenders constantly looking over their shoulders and when Ray gets moving, something is always about to happen. ⚡ His attacking partnership with Crizola and Nigel has already provided a glimpse of what this new look attack can produce. Ray's perfectly weighted through balls demonstrates exactly what he brings to the team - vision, timing, pace and end product.

Now, the question is simple: Can Raymond Magayo turn his speed into destruction? 🔥

Opposing defenders will know they cannot afford to give him room. They cannot switch off for even a second, they cannot allow him to turn and run because once Ray finds that space, the chase is on. He carries the kind of explosive pace that can turn a defensive situation into an attacking opportunity almost instantly and with every match, he is growing more confident in the Jujaldo colours. On Saturday we will be hoping that this is the match where Ray takes centre stage - where the runs become assists, the assists become goals and the speed becomes a nightmare for whoever stands in his way.
