We try again the Ghetto Badgers aka GLEN STARS Futsal

It was a not so good outing against Kilworth Academy. We lost 9-5 in a match which we missed a lot of chances. The rebuilding exercise continues. Coach Teko was impressed by the young lads.

The new look GLEN STARS Futsal with an average age of 16 and still new to the game of futsal. Having being AWEOLED by the experienced players. We took a turn to new generation and start a new page. On matchday 2 of the 2026 season we lost 6-3 to 401 F.C.

We say bravo to the young lads for showing up.

Kudos to the match officials for delivering a flawless game with professionalism and integrity that sets a high standard.

In a thrilling game we prepared tirelessly and waited with anticipation. Unfortunately, some of our dependable team members had other priorities. In a display of misplaced priorities, some individuals chose to commit themselves to other social and sports leagues, deeming those fixtures more important. We may bow out, but we bow out with heads held high, not because we lost, but because we gave it our all. We dominated the game from the opening whistle, but lacked the finishing touch. Although we're out of the ZIFA MUNHUMUTAPA CUP 2026, we're proud of the team spirit shown by the lads who showed up. As we move forward, some individuals will have to part ways with the brand GLEN STARS Futsal. We came up just short, shattered on the last point. We lost 2 nil to Shibobo F.C., but we're grateful for the experience.
