One of the most rewarding parts of being a Coach is stepping onto the mat and sparring with your juniors. Today, I had the opportunity to spar with one of our young female karatekas, and it was a great reminder that every student deserves the chance to test their skills, build confidence, and learn through experience.

Sparring is not about proving who is stronger. It is about timing, control, discipline, respect and growth. As instructors, we also learn when we spar with our students.

Seeing our juniors become more confident with every session makes the hard work worthwhile. Keep training, keep learning, and never be afraid to challenge yourself. 👊🥋
