Harare City Football Club is a Zimbabwean football club based in Harare. They play in the Division one of Zimbabwean football, the Northen Region Soccer League.
THE club was formed in 1989, as the brainchild of two Harare Municipality staffers, Messrs Chinengundu and Thomas. The project was mooted as a recreational pastime for the city council’s workers who began playing in the Harare Social League, under the name City of Harare FC. Our CUBS yesterday at Gwanzura Stadium collected maximum points after beating Dreamers 4-1 in a thrilling encounter. Dominic Ruzvidzo scored a hat trick before the visitors pulled one back from a penalty spot. Tinashe Jongwe sealed the victory with an excellent finish to round off the match.
