The Schoolboys Schooled the Pirates Again

Axiom College FC, the fearless schoolboys of Mashonaland East Division 2, have done it again — Ghetto Pirates FC have been conquered for the second time.

What looked like an easy encounter for the Pirates quickly turned into a difficult afternoon. Ghetto Pirates struck first, scoring the opening goal and briefly putting the pressure on the schoolboys. However, Axiom College responded within minutes, restoring parity and making it 1-1.

With both sides fighting for the top position in the Mashonaland East Division 2 race, the intensity increased. Axiom College showed why they are considered one of the giants of the league, refusing to surrender and continuing to push forward.

Their persistence paid off as the schoolboys found the decisive goal to complete the comeback and seal a 2-1 victory at full time.

For the second time, Axiom College FC have beaten Ghetto Pirates FC, proving that their first victory was no fluke. The outspoken Pirates have now had to recognise the schoolboys as their conquerors.

With our ambitions growing, Axiom College FC has now set its sights on earning promotion to the Pacific Storm Eastern Region Division One Soccer League. This goal continues to motivate the players, technical team, and executive committee to work even harder. Every match presents another opportunity to strengthen our position at the top of the current league standings and move closer to achieving our dream.
The club also extends its appreciation to the executive committee for strengthening the squad with the addition of seven competitive players. Their arrival brings greater depth, quality, and competition within the team, making the future even more exciting for the club and its supporters.
