🚨 MANSA DISTRICT YOUTH GAMES UPDATE 🇿🇲
Mansa's biggest youth sports tournament took place yesterday at mansa college.
The tournament brought together Athletes from 9 wards namely, mansa ward, chilyapa ward, muchinka ward, namwandwe ward,musaba ward,chibeleka ward,myulu Ward,mulenshi ward and chibeleka ward.. This is all part of the road to the 2026 luapula province Youth Games in samfya (AUGUST 26–29), where young athletes from across all the districts will compete in Chess, Athletics, Basketball, Netball, volleyball and pool.
Yesterday's district youth games served as selection for the Best Athletes that will represent mansa district next month in samfya.🔥 😁

MR MANSA BODYBUILDING COMPETITION OPEN FOR SPONSORSHIP.

The Mansa Bodybuilding and fitness Federation is set to host the first ever MR MANSA BODYBUILDING COMPETITION on 18 July,2026. preparations are progressing well, with a positive turnout of at least 15 participants, representing all wards in Mansa District.

The competition will have the following categories;
1: WEIGHT LIFTING (women)
2: WEIGHT LIFTING (men)
3:MR PHYSIQUE (Men)
4:MR LUAPULA (main event).

bodybuilding is a growing sport that promotes focus, discipline, and positive living.introducing and professionalizing the sport in mansa and luapula at large,will help grow it while keeping the youths active and away from negative influences And also help them earn an income .
Therefore,We are appealing to the business community in Mansa and corporate partners to come onboard and support the tournament in any way.

The Kenneth Kaunda sports tournament brought together some government institutions,competing in various sports disciplines. The event which was held yesterday at mansa college, was characterized by impressive display of skill,discipline ,teamwork, and sportsmanship.

Beyond the results, the kk tournament provided a valuable platform for social interactions and also for teams to build confidence and gain competitive experience .
The 2026 KK tournament highlighted the significance of such initiatives in talent identification and also the importance of public workers participation in sports and physical activities.

ZAMBIA POLICE CROWNED CHAMPIONS OF OF THE KENNETH KAUNDA FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT AFTER PENALTY SHOOTOUT WIN .

Zambia police are the champions of the KENNETH KAUNDA FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT after a thrilling 6-5 victory over ZAMBIA NATIONAL SERVICE (ZNS)in a penalty shootout At mansa college ground.

The final ended 1-1 in regular time, forcing the match into penalties where Zambia police kept their cool to convert All of their spot kicks. ZNS only managed to net in 5 out of their 6 spot kicks.

This exciting tournament organized by the ministry of sports and luapula sports associations,brought together teams from different government institutions to battle for trophies and Awards..

Earlier in the day, The Zambia Army secured third place after edging Mansa General Hospital 2:0.The tournament attracted a huge crowd at Mansa college ground,with The guest of honor,The mayor of mansa,Hon.Njikho musuku present at the venue to present the trophy to the winner.

SAMFYA POOL TOURNAMENT HIGHLIGHTS 🔥🥰.
Yesterday, Samfya pool association successfully hosted a pool tournament at lupili, Samfya district.
TEAM WHY NOT Were crown winners of the tournament.The tournament attracted participation from 6 clubs within samfya district.
