PLAYER FOCUS :Prince Matongo

Born in western province ,first born in the family. Prince Matongo's journey began where discipline meet ambition.

Matongo is a cool and calm player who controls the ball without panic.His passing are not only safe but also purposeful.

Raised in the southern province of zambia,Matongo began his football career at the age of eight.

He later joined railways stars of livingstone where he finished the season has a top scorer with nine goals.

His discipline earned him to feature in the under ten,twelve and fourteen at club level.

He later joined zesco victoria falls where he developed in to a versatile midfielder because he competed with experienced players and managed to finish the season with four assist.

His progress continued has he also played for maramba stars where he only played for the first round and moved to lusaka to feature for camnet stars ,he later on rejoined maramba stars and finished the season with three goals and five assists.

Matongo then moved to barts fc where he had a successful season by helping the team to play absa cup and later on won the southern division one league.

In 2025 second round, he moved to kabwe to join waza united football club. His performance at waza has been impressive has he helped the team to finish in top two with an assist.

Inspired by Gavi,matongo continues to work hard and improve his performance at club level with the dream of playing for power dynamos and Barcelona.

With the club going into transition league next season with hopes to play national
league,matongo promises to do his level best and help the team to win each and every game.We wait to see what matongo will do for waza united football club.

PLAYER PROFILE:Darius Kamfwa Koko Master

Born in kabwe waya compound, darius Kamfwa is the fouth born in the family of eight.

His football journey began in 2010 at zamtel fc where he started playing at the age of nine.He also featured in the under ten and twelve before joining young raiders.

He later joined young raiders ,where he became a reliable Winger and helped the team to win the central division one 2020-2021 league and finished the season with nineteen goals. His discipline, growth and an impressive season attracted him to other clubs.

Darius Kamfwa later moved to flying stars football Club where he had a short stint and scored eight goals before joining Barts football club in choma.

His progress continued has he helped Barts football club to qualify and play absa cup where he assisted with a goal and later on won the 2024-2025 southern division one league.

In 2025 he joined Waza united football club, where he helped the team to finish second and scored thirteen goals.His season at waza has been incredible such that he has attracted bigger clubs.

Still young and ambitious, darius Kamfwa continues to work hard and improve his performance at club level with the dream of playing for Red Arrow football club and earn a place at national team.

Beyond his performance on the pitch, darius Kamfwa has also became known for bringing jokes in the team which boots morale for his team mates.

With confidence, talent and personality darius Kamfwa koko master represents the new generation of Zambian footballers, players who bring both quality on the pitch and character off it

As waza united football club concluded the league in style by donating to the vulnerables children of promise home some food staffs and groceries as a way of saying thank you to the almighty God for he has been awesome in good and bad situations throughout the just ended soccer season.
