What does being part of this team mean to you?
It’s great to be part of such a diverse group of riders who work hard, have fun, and proudly represent ourselves, the team, and the sponsors and partners who allow us to race week in and week out.

Favourite cycling race to watch:
Paris–Roubaix on the road — a race I’ll watch from the very start. I also enjoy international track racing, including the World Championships and Track Champions League, with the dream of racing at that level one day.

One fun fact people might not know about you:
I hold a professional diploma in Sports Nutrition.

Who inspires you most in cycling or sport?
The enjoyment and freedom that cycling brings — and continues to bring — along with the privilege of being able to stay active, is my biggest inspiration.

Paarl Boxing Day 2025. What a way to end this incredible year of bike racing. 3rd place in the Points with the natty champs jersey on was a proper warm up for the main event, the 25 mile. A bittersweet 2nd behind back2back winner, Josh D**e. The effort from everyone involved, from my coaches Glen Bonthuys Cycling to the team Crown Cycles Bilionetworks to the tactics to the will to win and the fans on the day, everything worked out 99% well. Once again well done to Josh and to Alex Heward completing the podium, turning the clock back with a gutsy 3rd place. Now for some down time after a great year. See you in 2026
