Celebrating Our Rover! 🏕️🌍🇿🇦

We are extremely proud to announce that one of our Rovers, Tsundzukani Mashele, had the honor of representing the Limpopo Region and SCOUTS South Africa at the 2nd Africa Rover Moot. This event took place at Arrowe Park in Johannesburg from 1 to 8 August 2026.

This incredible international Scouting experience brought together Rovers from across Africa and beyond, creating opportunities to build friendships, develop leadership skills, share cultures, and live out the Scout Promise and Law on an international stage.

In his own words, Tsundzukani expressed, “I would like to sincerely thank you for this opportunity, and I hope such opportunities will reach others. With the experience I have gained, I’m eager to pass on what I’ve learned to my fellow Rover crew back home, and I will continue to live according to the Scout Promise and Laws.”

Tsundzukani, your dedication, commitment, and spirit of adventure make us proud! 👏 Congratulations! We celebrate this achievement and look forward to seeing how this experience inspires your continued journey in Scouting.

⚜Two Weeks of Unforgettable Memories ⚜

From challenging hikes to Adult Leader Courses, Water Awareness Training to the Young Leaders Forum including Child Protection Youth Forum, this Winter Camp was about learning, leadership, adventure, and friendship.
Scouts from across Limpopo gathered to pitch tents, master backwoods cooking, work on Springbok projects, share campfire stories and songs, enjoy Cub Camping Day, and participate in daily activities that built skills and character.

While these pictures capture only a glimpse of the experience, they can’t fully convey the fun, laughter, teamwork, and spirit that filled each day.

Thank you to every Scout, Cub, Rover, Adult Volunteer, and supporters who made this camp possible. Together, we are building young leaders ready to make a difference.

Adventure was lived, skills were gained, and friendships were forged.

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!

Talk about a Double Impact Event!
In celebrating Youth Month, we're hosting two Youth Forums by empowering young people to speak up, lead, shape safer and stronger communities.

What a fantastic Colour Run we had this past weekend! 🌈

With over 200 young people (Meerkats, Cubs, Scouts, and Rovers) gathered, the event focused on Child Protection and the launch of our Child Protection Youth Forum.

We started with a community walk for awareness, followed by an exciting colour blast. The day concluded with an assembly that highlighted important conversations about child protection, giving young voices a platform and reinforcing our commitment to their safety and well-being.

It was a day full of fun, awareness, and impact!

We are excited to announce our first Color Fun Run event in 2026, aimed at raising awareness for Child Protection and Children's Rights while highlighting the importance of Child Participation. Over the years, we have had a Child Protection Committee that includes a youth representative. However, we've recognized the need for a dedicated forum specifically for youth to address issues related to Child Protection. We will be launching this forum during the event to empower the youth, giving them a platform to voice their concerns and discuss important matters.

We held a very successful Introduction to Adult Leadership course this past weekend! Scouting is growing in Limpopo.
