One destination. Two Extreme challenges. Which one will you choose?

The Knysna Extreme and Knysna Extreme 0.5 aren't separated by passion, they're separated by how far you want to push yourself.

The 𝐊𝐧𝐲𝐬𝐧𝐚 𝐄𝐱𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞 𝟎.𝟓 is the perfect introduction to the world of Extreme Triathlons. You'll tackle a 2.5 km swim, 100 km bike and 30 km run, covering 132.5 km with nearly 1,700 metres of elevation. It's shorter than the full event, but don't be fooled, it's an incredible challenge in its own right.

The 𝐊𝐧𝐲𝐬𝐧𝐚 𝐄𝐱𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞 takes things to another level with a 5 km swim, 176 km bike and 52 km run through the spectacular Garden Route and Knysna Forest. It's a race designed to test you physically, mentally and emotionally from start to finish.

Whichever finish line you're chasing, your Knysna adventure starts with one decision: How far do you want to push yourself.
