Further to my previous post, here are a few HG videos from the NGPSA HG & PCC provincial league 6 from Sunday (21/06).
This was a great match with clever, well designed stages that tested different aspects of shooters’ skills and abilities.
Although I am still getting used to my new Canik Rival-S, the pistol ran exceptionally well and I am pretty happy with my performance (4th place overall in PO and 1st place in PO Senior category).
My thanks, as usual to the match organisers, MD, RM and RO’s who set up and worked the match. Thanks also to my range buddies in Squad 13 for helping to make it an exceptional day out (despite the cold weather)!

Here are a few stages from the NGPSA HG & PCC provincial league 6 from Saturday (20/06).
This was a great match with clever, well designed stages that tested different aspects of shooters’ skills and abilities.
Although there is still quite a bit of work and refinement to be done, I was happy with my PCCO first place overall and first place in PCCO Senior.

European HG Championship 2026
As promised, here are a few videos taken of our recent trip to Buzsák, Hungary to take part in the EHC 2026.

EHC 2026 — Day 5 (Saturday) — This was Squad 271’s 4th and final day in the competition (we competed in Area 1, Stages 1-6).
I had another fairly good day and managed to finish strongly in the match.
It has been wonderful to compete in the EHC 2026 (which was actually my first European HG Champs).
As always, it was a privilege to have the opportunity to meet and compete with many great and competitive shooters from all over the world.
Huge thanks to the match organisers, match management, RO’s and helpers for a superb, challenging and fun match.
I also wanted to thank my sponsors for the opportunity to compete in the EHC 2026 and for the manner in which they hosted members of the Canik Team.

EHC 2026 — Day 4 (Friday) — This was Squad 271’s rest day.
That said, as many keen shooters tend to do when at big matches, we got up fairly early and headed back to the range to support one of our team shooters.
Also managed to catch up with some shooting friends from all over the world at the range and did some admin … 😝🤨

EHC 2026 — Day 3 —
Day 3 began with a really early wake up at 03:50 to get ready, do my usual dry fire warm-up and then leave for the range at 05:20.
Got to the range just after 06:00 and we were only the 3rd or 4th car to get there.
We shot the 07:20 - 09:50 early morning time slot and I enjoyed a further improvement on my previous 2 days’ performances.
