Wattlespring club shoot -- It was a super mid-week match with fast stages. Thanks to the organiser (Peter) and the members of Squad 2 for a great day out.
Although I still have quite a bit of work and refinement to do, I was happy with taking 5x stage wins (from 6 stages) and taking the overall win.

Further to my previous post, here is a video of me competing with my PCC at last Saturday's Eeufees Club Shoot. You will probably see in the video that I ran some rather aggressive stage plans which (fortunately) came off.
This is still a work in progress, but I am happy to report that I managed to take the overall win in the match (and also won PCC Optics and PCC Optics Senior).
PS. Thanks to JP and Chantelle Rossouw (EngineRoom) for their assistance with video editing.
Here is a video of the stages from last Saturday's Eeufees Club Shoot. As usual, I was competing using my Canik, Rival-S pistol, which ran flawlessly. Had decided to push myself by trying certain rather more aggressive stage plans which (fortunately) came off.
Although there's still a great deal of work and refinement for me to do, I am happy to report that I managed to take the overall win across all HG divisions.
My thanks, as always, to my sponsors who make all of this possible.

Following my earlier post, here are a few PCC videos from the NGPSA HG & PCC provincial league 7 from Saturday (25/07).
This was a brilliant match with varied, challenging stages which tested many/most of the shooters’ skills and abilities.
I sadly didn't have a great match, so there's still quite a bit of work, refinement and polishing for me going forward. That said, I managed 4 stage wins, a fairly respectable 2nd place overall and 1st place in PCCO Senior.
My thanks, as usual to the match organisers, MD, RM and RO’s who set up and worked the match. Thanks also to my range buddies in Squad 9 for helping to make it an enjoyable day out.

Although I am still getting used to my new Canik Rival-S, the pistol ran well and I am fairly pleased with my performance (3rd place overall in PO and 1st place in PO Senior category).
My thanks, as usual to the match organisers, MD, RM and RO’s who set up and worked the match. Thanks also to my range buddies in Squad 28 for helping to make it a laughter- and banter-filled day out.

SAPSA Level III, Rifle Nationals — It was great to participate in this match over the weekend, despite having last shot a Rifle Nationals in 2021 and needing to use a borrowed rifle and optic for the match!
Huge thanks to the match management and ROs for their hard work and to the folk from Squad 6, who helped to make it a fun and enjoyable match!
Proud to report that I managed to win a silver medal in the SAO Senior category and win 3 stage win medals (my first ever stage win medals in any discipline!)
Further to my previous post, here are a few HG videos from the NGPSA HG & PCC provincial league 6 from Sunday (21/06).
This was a great match with clever, well designed stages that tested different aspects of shooters’ skills and abilities.
Although I am still getting used to my new Canik Rival-S, the pistol ran exceptionally well and I am pretty happy with my performance (4th place overall in PO and 1st place in PO Senior category).
My thanks, as usual to the match organisers, MD, RM and RO’s who set up and worked the match. Thanks also to my range buddies in Squad 13 for helping to make it an exceptional day out (despite the cold weather)!
