A very sad day at ZEC. Yollam, our precious groom and part of our family for the past 10 years passed away today.
We are grateful for the time we had with him.
Yollam, you were so loyal, joyful and hardworking.
I am grateful that you were able to spend your last days with your family in Malawi but even more than that you are in heaven now, with your Saviour Jesus Christ, without any pain.
We will always treasure your time with us here on earth.
You will be greatly missed.

Clarawi endurance ride.
What a fun ride for an excellent cause! Riding for cancer 💓
Our ZEC team went all out and dressed up for the occasion! Thank you riders, everyone looked amazing and participated for this amazing cause! We even walked away with some amazing prizes!!
Tine: best dressed child rider! 🥳 and successfully completed her 40km and Lady B's 1st endurance!
Wichardt and Stephan: successfully finished their 40km. 🥳
Corlia Swart finishing her 80km trapleer. Thank you for being an awesome senior! 🥳

Day 2:
The team and horses are settled in and feeling good! Riders and horses went out for a stretch and looking amazing! 😍 weather is fabulous 👌 not cold... as of yet! A good Fauriesmith so far! Shout out to Ogilvy Equine Rehab for ensuring our horses are looking super!

FAURESMITH 2024!
8 of our endurance riders are taking on the toughest endurance ride in S.A.! Mila Verloop, Emmeke Verloop, Milah van Rooyen, Ciara Mannion, Jurij Witthauser, Lienke Barnard, Corlia Swart, and Janine Enslin. Good luck to you all!
Day 1:
A very early 3h30 am start for horses, and team! We all arrived safely in Fauries. The big camp set up! After a very long day, horses and team are nicely settled in and ready for the week. 💪
