On Sunday noahs_cycling heads off to Belgium 🇧🇪 for the UCI Junior World Track Champs.

He has really come into form, winning every race he entered last week at the Jeanne Nell Classic. We are super proud, and cannot wait to watch him fly the SA Colours on the world stage.

Made by women. Worn by women.

Our DSV SHIFT Academy riders went into the CIOVITA factory to see where their kit actually comes from. Jess Wilkinson walked them through every step, from flat panels to a finished jersey.

Same sport, two ends of it. The women who build it and the women who race it.

Happy Women’s Month💙

What a week in Oudtshoorn! 🚴

Looking back on Youth Festival 2026 and we could not be prouder of this team. Our young riders showed up with heart, grit and some serious speed across both the criterium and road races.

A few results worth celebrating:

🥇 Akhuya Mnqathe: 1st (Crit) and 2nd (Road) in U15 Girls
🥇 Noah September: 1st (Road) and 2nd (Crit) in Jnr Men
🥈 Amber Roos: 2nd in both races, U17 Girls
🥈 Yahyaa Martin: 2nd in Road Race, Jnr Men
🥉 Kayden Marais: 3rd in U13 Boys Crit

But results only tell half the story. Akhuya lined up for her very first ever criterium, two tight 90 degree turns and all, racing against the U13 boys. She led most of the way, mixed it up in the sprint and outsprinted every girl and a good few of the boys too. Fearless.

And after letting a WP rider slip away in the crit, Noah and Yahyaa came back with something to prove in the road race. They rode clean off the front and demolished the field, winning by over 4 minutes. Redemption done right.

Proud of every single rider who represented us this week. This is only the beginning. 💪

Cyclists don’t just train legs. Here’s why. 👇

When you think of cycling, it’s easy to assume it’s all about powerful legs. But the truth is, every part of the body plays a role in performance.

A strong core helps riders stay stable and transfer power more efficiently. Upper body strength improves bike control, especially on rough terrain and technical descents. Strong shoulders, back and arms also reduce fatigue, allowing riders to stay in an efficient riding position for longer.

Off the bike, strength training isn’t about building muscle for the sake of it. It’s about becoming a stronger, more resilient athlete who can ride further, recover faster and reduce the risk of injury.

Our gym sessions are designed to build complete athletes, because success on the bike starts long before race day.
