Born in King William's Town and raised in the rural village of Kwa Ntonga, TJ has carried his roots with pride wherever he goes. From the dusty fields where his rugby journey began to becoming one of Matlosana Rugby Academy's finest players, he has remained humble, disciplined, and focused.

As the 📍captain of Matlosana Rugby Academy📍, TJ leads by example. He doesn't need to raise his voice to earn respect—his work ethic, commitment, courage, and consistency inspire everyone around him. His leadership is built on actions, not words, and that is what makes him such a respected captain.
