As Teemaneng Running Club we believe in community building and upliftment. We partnered with the Galeshewe Youth Network for the Phakamile Mabija Public Lecture together with the Sol Plaatje University.

Galeshewe Youth Network is a non-profit organisation based in the greater No2 Galeshewe, Kimberley. They have occupied the Robert Sobukwe Office at the Mayibuye Prescient. The organization caters for young artists around the area and has programmes that caters for young people to develop their skills within the arts. They also run an oral history program called the Van Toeka Podcast doing research on our history of Galeshewe hence it was important for us to partner with them to cover the Public lecture.

They will also have Hydration Station at the Mayibuye Prescient on the 21 March 2026 on the 21km route.
When you pass take in the rich history that goes with the place and do take pictures.
