A big thank you to Zibonele FM for hosting us on their sports show. 🙏🏾

They didn’t only give a platform to our World Champion, Leo Kaya Mlata, but also created space for our boxers Abongile Mdlazi (Pro Debutant) and Nhlanhla Dube (Amateur) to share their stories - why they chose boxing and how life has been since joining the sport.

Our Deputy Chairperson, Phumlani Nkqetho, also spoke about the academy’s development journey and some of the challenges faced, including training in a small facility without a boxing ring.

We are grateful for platforms that allow our athletes, coaches and academy to tell our story and showcase what we are building. 🥊❤️

Nonetheless, hoping other boxing clubs in the Eastern Cape will grab the opportunity as it's now in their province! 🏆👏

KBA sent 6 Cadet & Youth boxers to the District Championships this past weekend, and without a surprise, we came back with a 100% success rate! 💪🏾🔥
