Happy Women's Day on 9 August, South Africa!
To every woman I've had the privilege of coaching and every woman reading this, this is your day.
You show up. You push through. You lead even when no one hands you the title.
This month, I want to challenge you to do one thing for YOUR career or leadership journey: ask for the mentorship, apply for the role, have the hard conversation. Small, brave steps add up to big change.
Which woman inspired you to become who you are today? Drop her name in the comments and let's celebrate her together.

Communication shapes everything we do. When we use “Yes, and…” we open doors for collaboration. When we slip into “No, but…” we slow things down.
Saying what matters, cutting the noise, and ending with a clear next step makes teamwork smoother and business stronger.
Small shifts in language create big shifts in impact.
Words matter.

The fable of the tortoise and the hare has been on my mind lately. I have noticed how quickly I slip into “hare mode” — rushing ahead, trying to catch up, pushing for momentum.
The moment I move too fast, I lose clarity. My focus scatters. My energy drains. I become less effective, not more.
When I give myself a moment to think clearly, something shifts. My focus sharpens. My energy aligns. It is not about doing less — it is about doing what matters most. And when I am intentional like that, progress feels deliberate instead of rushed.
The tortoise was not slow. The tortoise was steady — focused, intentional, and strategic.
That is the kind of clarity I am leaning into, knowing what to focus on, when to act, and how to move forward with purpose.
It is also the principle behind the Unstuck Sprint — a structured coaching journey of four sessions that helps you pause, refocus, and move forward with strategic intent. If you are curious about how it works or whether it might support you, I am always happy to share more.

I will be offline next week, and I wanted to leave you with this reminder:
Just because you have not done something does not mean you never will.
It just means you have not done it yet.
“Yet” gives us space.
Space to grow, to try again, to learn, to breathe.
If you are working on something that feels slow or frustrating, be gentle with yourself.
You are not behind — you are becoming.
See you soon.

Ever feel like your whole life is stuck in a traffic jam?
Here’s the truth I see again and again: It’s almost never everything that’s stuck.
It’s one lane that’s overloaded.
One responsibility you’ve outgrown.
One commitment you shouldn’t have said yes to.
One decision you keep postponing.
One pressure point that’s slowing everything else down.
When clients try to fix the whole system at once, they burn out.
When they clear one lane, everything starts moving again.
You don’t need a new plan.
You don’t need to “try harder”.
You just need to unclog the bottleneck.
What’s the one lane you need to clear this week?
If you want help spotting it, that’s exactly what I help people do.

During a recent session, a client told me she could not move forward with a piece of work. Every task depended on another task, and she could not see where to start.
We talked it through slowly, and she laid everything out in her own words.
Once she could see all the pieces clearly, she started noticing what connected to what.
That is when things shifted. She realised some things did not matter as much as she thought, and one thing stood out as the obvious place to begin.
From there, the decision she had been avoiding made sense to her, and the action steps she had been putting off were easy for her to map out.
My role in sessions is simple: I listen, I ask questions that help people see their own thinking more clearly, and they take it from there. The client always owns the process, and I create the space for things to make sense.
If you look at your own work or life right now, where does the starting point feel unclear?
