To the volunteers who made our GORGE RUN incredibly successful- a MASSIVE THANK YOU. Aid station teams, crew that setup, and worked at our race village, marshalls, MCs, clean up crew, sweeps who looked after our runners, vendors : Beloved Long Runs, Funky Pants Hillcrest, Gilnokie, The Steam Room, Michelle and her catering team, 32GI, Forest View Primary school Leopard Club, Krantzkloof Nature Reserve Honorary Officers, START Rescue, Faith Med medical team, Run Collective, SMG Group, TLM Biokinetics, gosh we are blown away by your incredible teamwork and dedication.
True Grit Trails goal is to build a strong trail running community and the team today certainly showed it is possible.

A massive THANK YOU to all of our runners who joined us at THE GORGE RUN today, you certainly showed that you have Grit. We have so many adventure stories from the run.
Some come to mind immediately - a father carried his daughter on his shoulders for 5 km and finished as 2nd man home.
A mother carried her child for 10km and our oldest participant today was 84years old. Simply incredible.
