Monday Motivation

For the past two years, I poured myself into the community. I gave everything I had..when I say everything, I mean everything...

There were times I spent all my money on initiatives and neglected my home responsibilities. Days I had no petrol yet I drove around having meetings to get sponsorships to help our people...

I put the community before my health, my business and my family life. I did it with a smile without asking for anything in return...I did it because God had ordered me to do it..it was his will..

Last week I got a phonecall..I must go to the Victim friendly building ( white house) , aunty Jenny wants to see me...I know aunty Jenny personally so I assumed she probably needed me to do some community work or something...because I know that most people just want me to do things for them...

I got there and she told me God put it on her heart to bless me with all this brand new equipment for my gym...A wave of emotion came over me and my first reply was " no thanks aunty Jenny" , " I cant take it" , " why are you blessing me for free "...

Her response was simple... " you are a blessing to our community and you deserve to be blessed for your heart "

I've never felt so humble in my life...I hugged her so tight..infact I hugged all the ladies and thanked them for their selfless gesture...little did they know that I was in my lowest point in my life and wanted to give up...

I have come to realize that there are people out there that recognize my efforts and see my value..who cherish and love me for who I am...who believe in me and want to see me win.

I wish aunty Jenny a blessed and happy retirement, I pray God keeps you healthy to enjoy life with your family and grandkids.

Thank you for everything you have been to the women of Wentworth...
