Four More Reasons to Be Proud of ERU 💙🏉

It is with immense pride that we congratulate four of our players on making the Valke team!

This is yet another notable contribution from East Rand United, demonstrating that despite the limited resources we have, we remain capable of producing young talent from communities that often rise from the shadows of poverty.

Please understand what it takes to get here.

Some of these players live in backrooms. Some walk kilometres just to attend training and matches. Yet they continue to show up, work hard and chase one dream — to play well enough that sport can change the atmosphere, the place and the space around them, improving not only their own lives, but those of their families.

Gentlemen, on behalf of East Rand United Rugby Club, I want you to know that we are incredibly proud of you.

May you continue to go from strength to strength. May God bless you, guide you and protect you on and off the field.

A sad day for all of us. Please join us as we pay our last respect to our founding and long standing member. Oom Vic was well respected and loved by members of ERU and our rugby colleagues across clubs. Long live the spirit of Oom Vic.

Last Saturday was a good day for Club rugby and while we congratulate Benoni Northerns Rugby Club we also saying bad Boys bad boys what you gonna do when we come for you 🤞🏼💪🏻🤣
