Officially founded in 1946, the Amanzimtoti Rugby Club celebrates its 75th year of community-driven passion for the game of rugby.
The Club operates from Hutchison Park in Amanzimtoti, where players and supporters can enjoy vibrant camaraderie, an up-close view of the playing field, and wonderful meals and refreshments at our Clubhouse. In the early hours of this morning our boys came home from Vryheid with two more trophies.
Our First Team and Second Team were crowned KZN 1st Division Champions, taking Amanzimtoti Rugby Club to an incredible five cups this year. But when you look at those trophies, you see more than victories. You see the hours nobody saw, the sacrifices nobody counted, the difficult days, the belief, and the people who kept showing up for this club.
That is what makes this special. Not just the cups, but everything they represent. The friendships made, the battles shared, the pride of wearing the jersey and the people who stood behind the club every step of the way.
To everyone who played a part, this is your moment too. Five cups later, we can look back and simply say, we are building something special here.
