Bank Fishing on National Go Fishing Day 🎣

Had to get out for National Go Fishing Day, so we hit Shorts Lake at Crowders Mountain State Park this evening for a little bank fishing.

Nothing fancy. No boat. No crazy setup. Just a couple rods, a little bit of daylight, and enough hope to keep casting at every good-looking spot we saw.

We both ended up catching one, so I’m calling that a win.

This is exactly what Code 7 Rips is gonna be about — real fishing, real learning, missed hooksets, small wins, and chasing that next bite from the bank.

Not a bad way to spend the evening.
