Overall it was a great weekend, Lloyd drove the wheels off it all weekend with some pretty cool driving & results, locking it straight into the Nationals & leading 10 laps, a great weekend away with the Wi***es & Turners

The VA95 25/26 Formula 500’s Victoria racing season has come to an end, it has been a great season on the track by Lloyd, plenty of learning & confidence in the car, we have been getting some handy feedback from the lad with what the car is doing or not doing, Preparation in the shed Re Gearing etc is now decided by the lad, some great results but personally as well as the kid having confidence in the car the biggest highlight is every race started has been finished No DNFs 💪💪which is pretty cool, season results as follows

Well what can we say, Toby got his first ever Heat win at Laang Speedway, just happy for the kid to get that win and has been also putting in some great races with a couple of top 10 finishes and not far away with the other finals, most importantly finishing all races and having fun, a big thanks to Damian Jenkins & Mick Malone for all there time and effort with the help & support for Lloyd on race days, Next race Simpson March 21💪💪🏁🍻

Race fans apologies we have been a bit quite on our socials, race results from November & December, from Napa Adelaide to Nyora and tracks in between, Toby has had some great car speed especially with Adelaide & picking up a podium at Drouin , both these tracks he had never been to before, to do hot laps then straight into heats has been a quick learning curve, thanks to all our race partners and followers who all keep in touch with how we are going, off to Nyora this Saturday and then Premier Speedway Sunday, some pretty cool news from last Saturday at Laang will be in our next results update 👍👍🏁🍻

The team headed to the Jettco Developments Powri National Title for the micro sprints at Lake Liddel Speedbowl NSW,
Friday night was practice, first run was ok and got a feel of the track, 2nd run 1 lap in and the right rear wheel departed ways with the car (broke the centre out of the wheel), a few ideas thrown around between the team re gearing & setup and another wheel bolted on Toby headed out for his 3rd run, what a few laps it was, smooth & fast,
Onto Saturday night, 2 heats & Prelim A main (double points towards sunday) we decided to start with what we finished with and the lad drove the wheels off it in the heats & qualifying into the Prelim A out of 6, came away with a 3rd from 17 cars
Sunday night, chasing an electrical issue a few things were changed & cleaned, to set up the final night Lloyd had starting positions 1 & 8 for his heats, sitting 2nd 5 laps in the car cut out , due to him causing a stoppage was sent to the rear ( car restarted), finishing 8th, changed the ignition switch for the last heat and we just spoke about just needing to finish and try and pass a couple of cars , the lad drove the best we had seen and finished 2nd 💪💪, started the A main out of Pos 6, got to 3rd during the race and was looking comfortable, when there was a restart he spun out coming out of corner 4, he was sent rear of field (16th), put on an impressive drive rounding up a heap of cars on the fence and finishing 7th , the lad was bitterly disappointed in himself for spinning which I hadn’t seen before, but gee it was good to see him hurting knowing that he had a chance for the top 3, I said mate your 14 and you have done us bloody proud and to see the smile & confidence in himself & the car after each race was priceless,
A big thanks to Damian Jenkins Mick Malone for coming along and helping out with everything, much appreciated, also to Ash Sinclair for his help with the electrical bug, once again a big thanks to all our race partners, congratulations to Hugo Chivell on the win 🏁, a season wrap up to be released next week 🤙🤙💪💪🏁🍻🍻

Team VA95 are at Timmis Speedway Mildura tonight, support to the senior $1500 to win event , driver & mum bit of race briefing before saddling up, a great day here of 25 degrees, this is the teams last winged event for the 24/25 season , heats out of 6 & 3, Lloyd to get some more laps under the belt and again thanks to all our race partners and crew, 🤙🤙💪💪🏁🍻🍻
