South Juniors Swim Club

Our AGM meeting is tomorrow night Thursday 18 December at 7pm at the Juniors Kingsford for any members that would like to attend.
We willl be having the meeting around outside the wintle room area at the lounges.

It’s been a tough year for our club and for many people in general in society .

Please note our Xmas 🎅 presentation and lunch is on next Saturday 29 Nov approx midday in the glasshouse at the Juniors Kingsford. It will be BYO meal at this bistro and drinks included. Come along and celebrate swimming members and friends . It’s been a tough year 2025 with 3 of our members passing - Jim, Harrie and Walter . But also a milestone year celebrating 60 years of the club . 🏆🍷 .

For Jimmy you are in our thoughts tonight! # # #

It is with great sadness that we announce one of our long time members Jim Ryan passed away last night. Jim was born on 22 July 1932. He was 1 month away from his 93rd birthday. We will remember him loving his 🥃 and dark 🍺 . Always a larrikin and constantly trying to get our 10 a side relays a win ( which we often did) with his wonderful maths skill. Vale Jim (James)
Very greatful he got to celebrate in March our clubs 60th anniversary .

One of my fondest and funniest memories was carrying the crocodile 🐊 cup in the glass case down his driveway in Maroubra so we could take it back to
Canberra to return after our win the previous year which we nearly all dropped.
