When I am in the process of onboarding a client, one of the first things I ask is “Is your fiancé/husband/partner supportive of your goals?”.
Why?
Because this person usually has the biggest impact and influence over the client being able to achieve their goals or not.
It’s the environment you live and the people you surround yourself with who make such a difference.
Sometimes, we need to re-evaluate our environment and our closest relationships to see if they’re helping or hindering our life goals, allowing us to grow and become the best version of ourselves.
A lot of my clients have such supportive partners. I love it when they tell me their fiancé/partner did a workout with them, went for a walk, cooked them a delicious or nutritious meal or even encouraged them to move when they were lacking motivation 🥰
This is also an appreciation post to .heinemann alex.heinemann for being such a supportive husband, best friend and partner in life. Thank you for always encouraging me with my goals, providing love and support when I feel lost and just being there if I’m struggling ❤️

Things I’ve learned over the past 6 months:
1. Allow yourself to be surrounded by people who you feel safe and supported to grow and change. The more you try to resist change the more difficult life becomes.
2. The best things in life come from some level of both excitement and being SCARED!
3. Sometimes the path we are on changes unexpectedly. There is a detour we need to take or we change our route completely to arrive different destination. That’s okay. It’s all part of the journey and it will probably bring you to a place more incredible and beautiful than you ever expected.
4. You don’t have to know all the answers or what the future holds. There will always be times in life where you’re unsure of what’s to come. This is okay and normal. Becoming comfortable with the unknow is a great skill that some never master.
5. Communication is key in any relationship.
6. Therapy is for everyone, not just people who have “issues”. Everyone can benefit from it and learn something about themselves by becoming more self aware and being a better person in the world.
7. You are the driver of your life. You are the one who has all the control, even though sometimes it feels like you don’t. You are the ONLY one who determines your future.
8. Feel it, don’t push it away. Have a power cry. Sit in that feeling and emotion until you need. How you feel is never silly or stupid. You shouldn’t have to justify it to yourself or anyone else.
9. Ask for help and accept help when it’s offered. Strong women/men/people ask for help and they allow themselves to be vulnerable.
10. Everything is temporary. Every feeling, emotion, experience, situation, high, low we experience in life … it’s all temporary and never lasts. So make the most of the highs, endure the lows and make the most of each day because you being here is also temporary and time is precious.

This is my client Hayley’s day on a plate. It just goes to show you don’t have to eat bland & boring food to lose fat!
I wanted to show you an example of what my clients typically eat in a day (this can vary a bit depending on the individual, their goals and preferences) but it gives you a good idea for sure!

These are my favourite type of feedback🥹
I want to give you the skills to do life, not to restrict and struggling. Nutrition is something that we don’t get taught in schools and exercise has been soooo muddled up in our society!
DM me the word “WEDDING” for a chat about your journey x
