Congratulations to Ascension Sports KJ Marshall on his new position with Pitt Men’s Basketball. KJ played at Pittsburgh for Coach Capel, completed his GA with Coach Capel and now has joined the staff. Extremely thankful for the Capel brothers for taking care of KJ since the very beginning.

Congratulations to Ascension Sports Family Brittany Drew on her new position as Assistant Coach at Stetson University.

Congratulations to Ascension Sports David Noel/Greensboro Swarm on capturing the Eastern Conference Championship. Coach Noel has experienced success every level as a player, and I think the time is coming as a coach. With the number of vacancies around college basketball, Coach Noel is overly qualified. His immersion into the college game is imminent. Ideally, I would to see him apart of the new staff at UNCG. Strong roots in the Greensboro/Triad area and there’s already a connection between him and the HC. Regardless of when, Coach Noel is next up in the collegiate space.

2027 G Leena McField/Northern Guilford is a future ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Congratulations to the Grimsley WBB program on capturing the Conference Tournament Championship and Regular Season Championship! HC Chris Wadelington in year two has turned the Whirlie program around. At the pace he’s going , Coach Wadelington will begin to receive the attention of college staffs. Extremely proud of Ascension Sports 2027 Shyla Simms / 2029 Zoey Goodman and 2029 McKenzie Cannon.

HC Dustin Kerns/ Appalachian State has been as consistent as they come in the Hoop State. Appalachian State has won 7 of their last 9 games and on pace to eclipse 20 wins for the season. Kerns has done a tremendous job in the Sun Belt.

Ascension Sports 2029 Zoey Goodman and 2027 Shyla Simms showed why they are one of the top backcourts in the country.
